The 1st<\/sup> International Conference of Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) held by the center of Islamic boarding school of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is the first event that concerned with Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School). The purpose of this event is to give opportunity to teachers, administrators, directors, Policy makers, researchers, academician, graduate students, practicioners,and professionals whose different background to present the results of research, development, and innovation related to Pesantren management and development. It would be the place for sharing ideas, experiences, in managing and developing Pesantren as well as getting cooperation with other institution.<\/p>\n

The benefits of the event aim to identify the problematic of Pesantren (problems, solution, expectation, treats, and financial development). Then, the most important thing is how Pesantren could adjust to the globalization era: ASEAN Community, modern life standard and expectancy, education and socio-cultural trend.<\/p>\n
